A charming antique Art Deco-era ladies’ pendant or travel watch, dating from approximately 1915–1930.
The
watch features a decorative guilloché-style dial with Arabic numerals
and original blued steel hands. The movement is marked SFRI, likely a
Swiss or French ébauche (movement base) used by early 20th-century
workshops.
The time is set using a pin-set mechanism — a small
button on the side of the case which, when pressed, allows the crown to
adjust the hands. This system was common before modern crown-pull
mechanisms became standard.
Condition:
Hands adjust correctly using the pin-set
Watch does not wind or tick — sold as not working / for repair
Matching serial numbers (78645) on both case lids
Case measures approx. 3cm in diameter
Case material appears to be nickel or silver-plate (no hallmark visible)
