LEGO TOA WHENUA Backpack ●Details●

BIONICLE is a line of toys manufactured and sold by LEGO for children between 7 and 16 years of age. The series was launched in Europe in January 2001, and in the United States in June and July of the same year.

BIONICLE is based on LEGO's early toy series, Slyzer and Robo-Rider, and has many similarities with them, including characters based on the four elements.

BIONICLE is a portmanteau of the English words "biological" and "chronicle," not "biomechanical" as commonly believed[1] and most correctly "bionics."

In Japan, LEGO blocks have only been sold at the brand store "Click Brick" since 2009. There were also products not available in Japan and exclusive to Toys R Us.

The series came to a temporary halt in 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they released "Hero Factory," which used similar parts but had a different worldview.

Hero Factory ended in 2015, and Bionicle was restarted. The series was initially scheduled to continue for at least three years, but sales were lower than expected, and the series was discontinued after the set released in the summer of 2016, the second year of the series.
