This vintage Chinese dragon white Bretonne embroidery needlerun lace kimono robe jacket dates from the 1920s. It is made of a white sheer net Bretonne embroidery needlerun lace with couched outlines and a decorative floral vine leaf spiral scrolling pattern with a Chinese dragon and Chinese phoenix Fenghuang design on the back. This lovely lace Chinoiserie boudoir peignoir robe jacket has a loose fitting kimono style, with an open front, no closure, scalloped trim edging, full flared wide short sleeves, side slit vents at the bottom and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 28 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 40 inch waist, 14 inch long sleeves and a 20 inch back. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of custom made Chinoiserie wearable art!
