The Dannan Thistle Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer features thistle-shaped holes inspired by the rich landscape of the Appalachian mountains. This was designed by Dannan's very own artist, making it completely unique! This Dulcimer has 4 strings and has versatile tuning, however it is standarly tuned to D-A-d. This Dulcimer has a beautiful solid spruce top that is stained a luscious rich cedar wood varnish. The back and sides are solid walnut. The body is hourglass shaped and the walnut headstock is delicately shaped like a violin scroll, giving this dulcimer a sleek look. This dulcimer comes equipped with a black gig bag.
