A very scarce limited edition, this copy being No. 74 of 120 numbered copies produced. 

Rebound in full red cloth, with a leather spine title label. With the original wraps bound in.

With thirty-one pages of illustrations and facsimile title pages. 

An impressive reference of works relating to Portuguese music and art, compiled by pianist, conductor and event organiser Michel Angelo Lambertini, who was said to possess the dream of creating an instrumental museum in Lisbon. He reported on the contributions he received in his fortnightly A Arte Musical, for which he was editor.

With an essay on Portuguese libraries as well as books in his possession. 

This copy comes from the library of Henri Espirac (1890-1950), a French baritone and bibliophile.


CONDITION

Rebound in full red cloth, with gilt stamps to the spine and a leather spine title label. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Bookplate of Henri Espirac to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned, but clean.
