Application:  Axial fan guards are grilles or grates that mount to a fan housing to allow airflow while providing a protective barrier for the blades. They help prevent damage to the blades by enclosing them to deflect debris and keep objects from being inserted into the blades. These guards also reduce the risk of injuries by preventing accidental contact with spinning blades. They're commonly used to cover fan blades in busy, accessible areas.
