This is a used TRK-8600RM (Stereo Padisco 8600RM) in navy color. Released around 1981.
The cassette deck is equipped with a DRPS (Digital Random Program Selector) that allows
you to select 9 songs forward and backward with a soft-touch mechanism that is easy to
operate.
The radio is AM/FM stereo with a high-sensitivity tuner that produces 39 dB of AM sound.
The speakers are a 2-way 16cm woofer and 5cm tweeter. The cassette section has all 5 new
parts, including the drive rubber belt, and all functions have been fully maintained (head, roller cleaning, drive mechanism re-greasing, etc.), and the tape runs smoothly.
The test was done with a 120-minute tape, and it runs powerfully. Recording and playback, fast forwarding and rewinding, and the stop function at the end of the tape all work normally.
The DRPS 9-song selection function is OK. Line in and out have been confirmed, and
microphone mixing has also been confirmed. The inside of the battery box is clean, and it runs on batteries.
In addition, the lighting lamp is on, and the needle meter swings evenly from left to right.
Equipped with a convenient tape speed adjustment function, the standard speed has been
adjusted to the 0 position. Please listen to Hitachi's proud, wide stereo. The entire part, both inside and outside, has been thoroughly cleaned, and the exterior has been antibacterial-treated.
The antenna is not damaged or bent, the battery compartment is clean, and it can be used with dry batteries. FM and AM radio can be received without any problems. AM.FM stereo radio and cassette recording/playback (fast forward and rewind) also work perfectly. There is no volume/
tone control scratching.
