19th century Islamic Qatar earthenware hand painted ewer. Features center came of young man looking to the side with floral and foliate painted decor completed with trailing leaves on the handle. The ewer displays porcelain staining and glaze cracking with glaze checking and chips located at the base. Please see extensive photos for details. It appears this piece was used over an open fire with burn marks on the base. Stands approximately 13" tall x 6" from the handle to the other side.
