This is an offering of one of the hard to find Artisanal Limoges, France decorative porcelain plates that feature a bird figure.
Ths one is the Kingfisher as he is shown perched on a branch hanging over a pond, waiting for his next meal.
The plate measures about 10 1/2" in diameter and has a black wide band that is deocrated with an elaborate gold pattern and also a solid decorated outer gold band.
This piece is in excellent shape with no wear or damage.
