This vintage naval pea coat originates from the former West German military (Bundesmarine), dated 1990 and produced by Uniformwerk Serös GmbH. The coat is tagged with NATO Stock Number 8405-12-310-7692 and labelled size 174/100, roughly equivalent to a men's UK size large.
Constructed in heavyweight black wool, this coat features a traditional double-breasted design with ten metal buttons, each embossed with the German Navy insignia and maker's mark ("Y" and “25N” on the reverse). The lapel is wide and sharp, typical of formal military dress. The internal label also notes “FCK - IMPR,” suggesting water- or stain-resistant treatment (“imprägniert”).
This is a collectible example of Cold War–era West German uniform tailoring and remains wearable as a functional winter overcoat or military heritage piece.
