Build your model your way! Direct-replacement 3D printed grille options for 1:25 scale MPC '76 Dart model kits allow you to detail your Dodge Dart Sport or Plymouth Duster model just the way you want it.
Grilles and tail panels are designed to fit the recently re-popped MPC 1976 Dodge Dart Sport model kit, as well as previously issued versions of this kit.
- The '73-74 Dart version includes a "smooth" tail panel to replace the kit version.
- The '75-76 Dart version includes only the grille and lights, as an improvement over the kit piece.
- The '73-74 and '75-76 Duster versions include a Duster grille and the Duster-style tail panel to replace the kit version
- The '75 Duster Custom version includes the special "Custom" tail panel instead of the base version
- All grilles include clear resin headlights and turn signals
- Plymouth Duster versions also include clear resin taillights
Parts are printed using an ABS-like resin which behaves more like the kit styrene parts when working than traditional resins. This resin blend is also less brittle and less susceptible to humidity and temperature distortions. I try to ensure fine, crisp details on my 3D printed products, however some light cleanup with 400 or 600 grit sandpaper is recommended to remove any traces of the 3D printing layers. Parts ship unpainted and still attached to the 3D printing supports to avoid damage in transit. Take great care when removing the supports with a sharp hobby knife or sprue cutters.
