Up for sale is a rare original photographic poster announcing a photography exhibition, "42nd Street - Night & Day", at the Floating Foundation of Photography, including photographs by legendary photographer Larry Clark. This is a vintage gelatin silver print, not a modern reproduction, and was produced to promote the event held at Pier 84, Hudson River, New York City, July 4-19, 11 AM to 8 PM.

Founded in 1970 by photographer Maggie Sherwood, the Floating Foundation of Photography was a unique exhibition space, meeting place, and teaching center. It became a hub for influential photographers.

The image captures a classic 1940s burlesque theater scene on 42nd Street, with vintage cars and iconic signage. Handwritten text in marker and pen surrounds the photograph.

An incredibly rare artifact tied to Larry Clark's early career and the vibrant New York photography scene of the 1970s.

Size: 16 x 20 inches.
