This coin celebrates Ukrainian volunteers. They donate money, organize fundraisers, purchase and deliver equipment, gear, food, medicines, and seek, and find ways to address the most pressing needs of Ukraine’s defenders. With their involvement, care, perseverance and just a sincere smile, they strengthen the Ukrainian army and help Ukrainians effectively fight back against the enemy. Volunteers are real superheroes, whose inspired hearts know no fatigue.

Obverse: in the center, against a smooth background, is a stylized image of hands weaving a camouflage net, which symbolizes the meaning of volunteerism as a form of assistance and comprehensive support and stand for the nation`s strength and unity in times of extreme hardship; above is Ukraine’s small coat of arms; beneath, to the left, is the following semicircular legend: the coin’s issue year 2023 and УКРАЇНА (Ukraine); beneath, to the right, is the legend П’ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (five hryvnias); there is also the mint mark of the NBU’s Banknote Printing and Minting Works.

Reverse: there is a stylized map of Ukraine in the form of a camouflage net as a symbol of a united Ukraine that is “intertwined” and united to achieve a common goal – victory.
