This offering is for an Original Revolutionary War-era Copy of BICKERSTAFF'S BOSTON ALMANACK FOR THE YEAR OF OUR REDEMPTION 1780, by Isaac Bickerstaff (pseudonym of Benjamin West) and Printed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1779 by Draper and Folsom. Measuring roughly 4.25" x 6.75", it lacks the title leaf with 11 out of 12 unnumbered leaves that include your typical Ephemeris, Eclipses, Tides, Courts & other Gov. Offices, Roads leading from Boston, "A Drinking Song", ceremony of a Russian marriage, etc.  and includes vintage ink notations in the margins, like "the hard winter was this year", "the dark day may 19" (eclipse), "hannah young dyed december the first In the year 1780", etc. The calendar page for the 17th & 18th of March notes the "British Forces evacuate Boston, 1776"; 17th of October notes the "Surrender of Burgoyne - 1777"; and the December one mentions on the 16th "Tea destroyed at Boston".
