Replacement :
→ Notes that were issued to replace notes that were damaged or destroyed before they were put into circulation. The symbol ✽ precedes the serial number on replacement notes.
Devil's face:
In the lower back part of Queen Elizabeth's hair, is what can interpreted as a nose and eyes, with a grin and slicked back hair. This was interpreted as a devil's face and removed quickly, due to public outrage.
