Hand to Spectator At End! Never Figure Out How it Worked!

These magical rods are decorated with six different colored gems on opposite sides. Ask the spectator to randomly select one of the six colors, and when you wave your hand majestically over the rod all the gems change to the selected color on both sides!

Tell the spectator that you will change the rod back to normal and in that instant, the gems on both sides of the rod change back to the original six different colored gems on both sides! The rod is then changed on one side to the spectators selected color but not the other.

The spectator is then handed the rod to examine - but they will never figure out how it worked!
