These Allcam EFS66L TV lifts are brand new in flat packed boxes with 2-year warranty. If you order with the optional cabinet, they will be delivered on a pallet. If you lives in a block of flats, you may need to arrange somebody to help you unpack the pallet and list the parcels to your apartment.
FAQ:
1. Can the Allcam EFS66L TV lift be ceiling mounted?
No. The EFS66L is NOT designed to be ceiling mountable. It should NOT be installed on a ceiling otherwise it is a serious safety hazard. Please buy the Allcam ECM784 Motorised TV Lift instead which can be both ceiling- and floor-mounted.
2. What is the minimum height? What is the minium size of the TV cabinet?
The minimum height isn’t one fixed number — it’s a range, because it depends on the TV you fit and how you mount it.
From the size drawing, the lowest possible height of the lift itself is:
790 mm + 20 mm = 810 mm (minimum)
However, the overall minimum height once a TV is fitted will vary depending on:
Your TV’s height (different models are taller/shorter)
Where the VESA mounting holes sit on the back of the TV (higher or lower)
Which set of mounting holes/slots you use on the bracket (you can mount the TV higher or lower on the bracket)
So, when working out the minimum cabinet height, use 810 mm as the starting point, then allow extra depending on your TV and mounting position.
How to check my TV’s mount size (VESA)? Is the bracket suitable for my 55″ Samsung TV?
A: First locate the 4 holes at the back of your TV, then measure the horizontal/vertical distances. If horizontal = 200mm and vertical = 100mm, then your TV’s mount size is 200×100, see image above. If your 55″ Samsung TV has VESA size of 400×200 and weight < 60 KG, then yes the EFS66L is compatible.
