The Swordfish attack aircraft was designed and manufactured by Fairly Aircraft Manufacturing Company in the United Kingdom. It was one of the main models used by the Royal Navy Aviation during World War II and began to be put into use in 1936. A total of 2392 units were produced. The aircraft is referred to as a "Stringbag" by the British Naval Aviation. In actual combat, he achieved great military achievements, most notably in the Battle of Taranto, where he inflicted heavy damage on Italian naval vessels, and in the siege of the German battleship Bismarck with torpedoes, resulting in the sinking of the Bismarck.
