Does work, both the hookup in the back and the headphone jack work but the headphones work and sound better. The ones in the back kind of sound a bit off, the video on the listing shows how it sounds. When the tape deck is opened it makes a loud squeak sound but it still works great.

Other than the sound on the hook ups in the back everything else works great. As it should.
