The pendant is marked 925 Taxco Mexico with MMC in the center and the eagle state stamp with the number 3, usually indicating Taxco. Taxco, Mexico is a city known for its silversmithing. The markings indicate the manufacture may have been 1950's - 1970's. The pendant is approximately 4" long and 1.5" wide and the design allows movement of the sections. The weight of the pendant is 19.3 grams or 12.41 dwt. There is a large bail to allow many sizes of chain or textile to hang it. The style is a modernist design, typical of Taxco silver jewelry.
