The 8-mm size distinction refers to the diameter of the beads as the widest point. Thes Islamic tasbihs are made from the dense hard seeds of the Piassava Fiber Palm (Latin name: attalea funifera) tree. This tree is only found in Eastern Brazil and a few countries on the African continent. These Turkish-style prayer beads are smooth to the touch and enjoyable to use. This tasbih is also waterproof so you don’t have to worry about getting it wet. A perfect prayer companion to keep in your prayer space or to travel with. This small size can be used by anyone but is commonly used by women and young ladies due to the small size of the beads.

This 8-mm round-bead genuine kuka tasbih has an approximate 30-inch (58-cm) circumference, so it will fit over most head sizes to wear on the neck. It has a 3-bead counter above the nicely sculpted alif/imam bead. No lacquers, oils or chemicals are used on the beads, they are dyed brown with an odorless coloring, then manually buffed and polished to a natural shine. It is strong on durable nylon string which we guarantee to be virtually unbreakable under normal use.
