I believe this is a vintage NOS (new old stock) Briggs & Stratton glovebox latch lock case for a Nash car.  I am going by information that was written on the original Briggs & Stratton box which indicates that it is for the years from 1941 to 1948.  I AM NOT CERTAIN THAT THIS IS THE CORRECT YEAR AND MAKE - PLEASE BE SURE THIS IS CORRECT FOR YOUR VEHICLE.   This is just the glovebox latch mechanism - there is no lock cylinder or keys.

Please see the photos which tell the condition better than I can say in words.  A very nice, hard to find locking door handle in excellent condition.
