A Strand of Antique Venetian and Bohemian African Trade Beads in Yellow hues (0262A)
This is a 26" strand of 58 beads. 48 of them are a mix of Venetian yellow African Trade beads, some cylindrical, some barrel-shaped, some bicone, and some rondels. There are some floral decorated beads, some "French Cross", a small King bead, some "rattlesnake" beads, and more. The remaining 18 beads are old Bohemian glass trade beads in subdued yellow.
The Venetian beads vary in size from about 11x14 to 6x10mm, Bohemian beads are on average about 12x8 mm. The strand is 26" long including raffia. The rule in the scale photo is metric (cm/mm)
The beads are in good antique condition. These are old beads that traveled a lot through space and time, and some chips and nicks are expected. Please examine the photo carefully.
Weights and sizes are approximate.

COLORS: Our photos are taken in different lighting in an attempt to show how beads look in different lighting conditions. We make every effort to show colors as accurately as possible. The white background photos are taken in daylight conditions. The black background photos are taken in the strong lab light, and would be representative of what they would look like in the evening electric light. Some of the photos are backlit to emphasize their translucency. Note that monitor settings strongly affect the way the colors look. What you see on your monitor may differ from what you see with a naked eye depending on your monitor settings.
