Rare Japanese mixed metal Komai style wine or sake pot, inlaid gold and copper on all four sides depicting peacock amongst foliage, chrysanthemums bamboo with flying birds and a pair of birds in a pomegranate tree. The top finial handle is in the form of a bamboo section. Beautiful piece displays well currently somewhat tarnished there is the loss of one strap with a bolt hole that holds the handle in place could be repaired or replaced. Unique Piece selling as is. Height to finial 7 and 1/4 inch height with handle 9 in from spout to the back is five and a half inches in width.
