I don't know much about amps. I plugged it in and power comes on and shows a green light. There is a light humming noise(sounds like an amp to me but again I don't know much about these) Thats as much testing as I know how to do. Cosmetically the box looks very good. It is insanely heavy. Selling as is due to size, weight and shipping cost.
