250 pages of text, followed by [v] pages with the heading "Memoranda" which are otherwise blank. Three quarter red leather binding, moderately rubbed at the extremities, Spine is loose ,  Front board cloth is soiled. 

I found 5 pages that have some notations , complete , all pages , none missing , none torn , Tissue guards intact 

Illustrated by a portrait of Dr. James Walker, then president of Harvard. Loaded with great history , Menus , Songs , Includes Robert Gould Shaw, Colonel of the Fifty-fourth Mass. Vols, the first black regiment to be raised in Massachusetts. The movie "Glory" is based on his experience.
