This book contains four of Mao's most important Works, of particular interest to (1.) those interested in radical social change and (2.) curious intellectuals.


In this work, Mao carries forward the philosophical framework for understanding dialectical materialism.  He does this in the context of the experiences of the Chinese people's Anti-Japanese War, 1931 - 1945, and also in the context of building a New China after the 1949 Communist victory establishing the People's Republic of China.
