This is a complete system made from high-grade lightweight titanium and finished with a carbon fibre end cap. The headers have been optimised for increased performance. This track-focused exhaust system focuses primarily on reducing weight and increasing performance, combined with a race-bred sound. The use of race-proven materials results in a weight reduction of 52.6% (4.7 kg) compared to the stock exhaust system. The system delivers an increase in power and torque of 5.2 kW (7.1 hp) at 14,000 rpm and 2.7 Nm at 6,000 rpm respectively compared to a stock-equipped Honda CBR600RR tested on the Akrapovič test bench, with power increases evident in the mid- to high-rpm range. During development, the engineers focused on throttle response and rideability for a system designed to be used exclusively on closed-course racing circuits.
ECU remapping is mandatory for optimum performance, throttle response and durability.
When installing the Evolution Line exhaust system on Euro5+ motorcycles (2 lambda probes), the check engine light may appear after identifying a deviation in the factory catalytic converter parameters.
