Ger Dijkshoorn (born 1947 in Rotterdam, Netherlands) has owned one of the most established Harley-Davidson specialist workshops in Utrecht, Netherlands, since 1978. Dutch Motorcycle Academy founder Peter van den Barselaar once complained to him that a lot of knowledge about classic and vintage Harleys was being lost as many of the older mechanics retired. He asked Ger to write down some details about Linkert carburetors so he could conduct training on them. What started with a few notes ended up becoming a 36-page din A5 brochure in Dutch. Now available on Zodiac in English.
