This is an original press photo. Cincinnati, OH - Hamburgers Helped - This is Carroll Williams, who came to Cincinnati's Xavier University by way of a hamburger stand in his hometown of Miami, FL, and is leading that school to its best football season since 1949. Williams' coach, Ed Biles, calls him "the best passing and running quarterback in the country." Williams made Xavier's season a success last Saturday: He tossed two touchdown passes to beat crosstown rival Cincinnati 14-3. An Xavier graduate who owned the hamburger stand landed Williams for Xavier.Photo measures 10 x 8inches. Photo is dated 10-12-1965.
