Report from the Augusta (VA) Female Seminary for Amelia Briscoe. Amelia Briscoe lived at Piedmont (1 mile west of Charles Town)  She married Lt. William Bowen Gallaher of Co. E, 1st Virginia Cavalry.  Lt. Gallaher had 4 brothers in law in Waynesboro Cavalry, all Confederate Soldiers.  This is from my collection of items relating to the Gallaher Family.
