International Society of Postmasters Medallic Sterling Silver Proof First Day Cover 

Commemorative issue honoring Admiral Michiel de Ruyter, the Netherlands' Greatest Navel Hero. Issued April 22th,1976 

This Medallic First Day Cover is an official commemorative stamp issued by the International Society of Postmasters and is accompanied by a sterling silver proof medal issued by the Franklin Mint. Medals are cast in 925 Sterling Silver. Medal Weight: 20gr. 92.5% silver. The medal bears a scene reflecting a commemorative person or moment that compliments the stamp. 

This first day issue comes in a stamped envelope with Certificate of Authenticity on reverse. The envelope is addressed to the original subscriber with cancelled stamp from country of origin.
