Here is an *ANTIQUE* Heavy Duty JACK / LIFT as follows:

- Brand: SMART BROCKVILLE (Canada)

- Model: No. 1

- Antique / Vintage: From the 1900s, 1910s, or even earlier. From the model number, it's most probably the FIRST ONE of its kind EVER MADE!

- Material: CAST IRON

- Weight: Over 50 LBs!! That's the weight of the jack itself! Imagine what's its weight capacity... (See photos for scale)

- Height range: From 18" to 27"

- Screw diameter: 2"

- Top rest diameter: 4.5"

- Pedestal diameter: 8.75"

- 4 x LEVER STICK HANDLE HOLES, one at every 90 degrees, two heights for inserting the lever bar.

- No lever bar included, but a crowbar works just fine to operate it, or a metal pipe, or any other iron stick or bar.

- Lever stick hole diameter: 1"

- LARGE CARRYING HANDLE. It's heavy, over 50 LBs, but still quite easy to carry with this handle

- INDUSTRIAL ULTRA HEAVY DUTY JACK ideal for any purpose. I can't imagine its limit holding capacity! Good for big or small buildings, as well as heavy vehicles or machines, etc... I checked everywhere on Internet, eBay, and can't find another one nearly as heavy and as large as this one...

- HIGH QUALITY -- MADE IN CANADA -- Smart Brockville Canada is from Ontario. (When this item was made, cheap China was over a century away!)

- *BONUS*: The package will include a FREE shower/utility carpet, in excellent condition, used to secure the jack inside the box. It has an anti-slip rubber side.

CONDITION AND HISTORY: This jack is used, of course, and the antique of antiques! It may be over 125 years old... It is still in excellent cosmetic and working condition. I have cleaned it, and the screw still has some lubricant grease. It works quite well as-is, but more lubricant will ease operation near the minimum and maximum height. Who knows, after relubrication, it might even rise higher than the 27" I figured is the maximum height... This item has been in the family for nearly a full century! My grandfather used to work at CRANE SHAFT GRINDER downtown Montréal, Québec, Canada from the 1930s to the early 1960s. This was a machine shoppe where Canadian war tanks and other equipments were repaired and maintained. At some point, my grandfather took it home before retiring in the 60s, and may have taken it to the cottage near the lake in Saint-Donat (Qc). My grandfather passed away in 1969, and my parents enhirited the family house and moved in shortly after my birth in 1971. This jack remained sometimes in the garage, or the basement, with all other tools from my grandfather. I don't remember my father having any lifting needs to use it around the house, so it simply remained in storage in the basement for the last 50 to 55 years... Sadly, my father passed away in 2021, so we're finding a good home for family items like this one.

SHIPPING: This thing is H-E-A-V-Y, and I'll ask a low price considering that, but I'm sure it can costs more, so I'll cover the rest...
