Natural African emerald gemstone originating from Zambia. This weighs 2.00 CTS and has been cut and faceted into an oval shape. The measurements are approximately 8.8 x 6.9 x 4.3 mm.

The stone is an example of a premium quality emerald, with attributes that set it apart from lower grade pieces. The coloring is a very vibrant shade of green with slight blueish undertones as typical with african varieties. This exhibits a higher level of transparency than is often seem with emeralds and can be said to be almost fully transparent. A gorgeous sheen and shimmer is also obvious throughout the gemstone.

The gem is in mint condition with no damage or chips. There is some visible natural inclusions which is quite typical of untreated emeralds. This can be considered SI clarity. It would make a great ring or smaller piece of jewelry.
