League: Collegiate Baseball

History: The SMU Mustangs baseball team were led by Head Coah Alex Hooks from 1949-1964. Hooks had a 17 year career in the Minors with the Tulsa Oilers and Atlanta Crackers. He made it to the show in 1935 for a "cup of coffee" playing in 15 games for the Philadelphia Athletics.
