LIONEL 3362 Helium / Log Dump Car Dump SPRINGS 3362-22 (pair), NOS, EXC ORIGINAL
This is NOT the conical spring used for the same function on the 3361 dump car...NOR is it the =-21
trigger spring. This one 'kicks the cradle' when the trigger pin is pulled, to dump the logs.
Modern P/N is: 620-6631-732.
The 3362 (and identical 3364) were the first to use this straight spring...I believe ALL Modern Era cars that are similar use it too. Photos show where this spring is located on a typical dump car chassis, and how it looks with the cradle installed.
