This is for 1 x water pump Impeller disc
1.2mm stainless steel plate
This disc is to be welded to the Ford original pressed steel impeller ( 6 blade) .
No need to look, or pay, for expensive OE type Cast Impellers.
This plate when welded to the OE impeller is better than the cast iron 'Boss 302' racing unit.
Because it is lighter there is less rotating mass and impeller inertia is mitigated, this significantly reduces fan belt slip when on and off the throttle.
The plate also helps eliminate caviation becaue it acts more like a vane type impeller.
Can be used on cleveland water pumps in STD to racing applications, it will be better than just having the pressed steel impeller in every case.
It can be welded to your impeller while still fitted to the water pump.
Comes with instructions.
**Will not work on aftermarket impellers that have 7 or more blades**

Nb, Just a note on the cost of early 70’s part numbered and date coded parts for classic / collectable cars: It’s no secret that for many years the classic ‘steel bumper’ cars have risen in value dramatically. The parts that make up these cars have a rising value as well because they are part of those cars, and in many cases make them worth as much as they are. Let me give you an example: A GTHO Phase 3 had a specific Holley carburettor (List # 4653). It is one of the few unique features that made it a Phase 3. You will find it hard to find one bellow $3500. They are almost identical to a similar Holley carburettor (list # 3310-1) and you can get one of those for a reasonable sum of $800-900. Why the big difference? It’s that little number stamped on the carb that says it’s a unit for a GTHO. So in addition, the case of water pumps for instance, the GTHO did not have a unique water pump, however it would have had a water pump with a particular ‘Casting number’ ( D0OE ) and an approximate ‘date code’ window ( anywhere from late 1969 to early 1971). Parts that fit inside these casting #'s / date code parameters are valuable because they were fitted to GTHO’s and so if you have a XW or XY, in any guise, then you have to pay the price of parts for special rare and collectable cars.
