(NM) near mint: perfect, unread, mint condition, perhaps recently purchased from a store
(EX) excellent: looks new but has been read, very minor imperfection
(VG+) very good plus: Well kept, sturdy. There may be some very minor ring impression, very slight creases to the corners. There should be no writing, seam splits or tape repairs.
(VG) very good: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear , slight creases to the corners. Small seam splits or tape repairs.
(G) good: More than normal wear and tear. A book with obvious wear. May have some damage to the cover but integrity still intact. The binding may be slightly damaged but integrity is still intact. Possible writing in margins, possible underlining and highlighting of text, but no missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text.
