This is a charming framed landscape artwork depicting a peaceful rural scene: two traditional thatched-roof cottages sit beside a winding country path, shaded by a large mature tree, with soft rolling fields and distant trees under a pale, hazy sky. Painted in warm muted tones of brown, green and soft blue, it captures the calm, timeless atmosphere of the British countryside.

Signed Percy in the lower left corner, the piece is set behind glass with a deep forest-green mount and housed in an elegant polished gilt gold frame with detailed moulding. It is in excellent vintage condition, colours remain fresh and unfaded, and it is ready to hang. A lovely classic piece of country art — perfect for cottage-style, traditional or classic home interiors, and a fine addition to any art collection.
