This is a large teardrop shaped amethyst pendant set in solid 12k yellow gold on a 14k gold chain. I took the pendant to a professional jeweler here in Kansas City, and he tested it at 12k gold. There are no markings on the pendant. It weighs 2.2 grams on my gram scale.
The pendant is approximately 15/16" by 3/8".
The pendant is on a 14k yellow gold chain. The chain is 17" long. The end of the chain is marked "14k Italy" and "OR". The total weight of the chain and pendant is a little over 2.8 grams.
