For many years, bronze has been the material of choice for use in underwater marine applications such as thru-hull fittings and seacocks. It outperformed many other metals and alloys and has stood the test of time. Until now. 

Designed and made in New Zealand, TruDesigns marine fittings are precision moulded from a glass reinforced Nylon composite material which provides both maximum strength and durability.

Designed for the secure routing of plumbing hoses or wiring through bulk heads or internal cabinetry.

Features:

Chemical resistant

No corrosion or electrical bonding problems commonly associated with metal fittings

Manufactured from a glass-reinforced nylon composite - High strength and light weight

Immune to corrosion and electrolysis - Long life with no concerns over decreased performance due to corrosion

Chemical resistant - Unaffected by diesel, petrol, or chemicals

UV resistant - Will not degrade or discolour with ultraviolet light from the sun

High quality surface finish - Will not discolour with green film as similar bronze fittings do

Large operating temperature range - Suitable for all marine environments, from -40°C to +110°C

Comes complete with two nuts and two backing washers

Eliminates chafing of plumbing hoses or wiring when passing through Bulk Heads

Connects with TruDesign Female Hose Tails to alow routing of hoses to fit neatly in place

Can be cut to length to suit thickness of Bulk Head

Comes in two sizes of diameter - 1" and 11/2"
