As a consequence to our business we are presented with the opportunity to purchase some very nice vintage bicycles. We generally focus our activities there to Chicago built Schwinn bikes, but have and will present other great vintage bicycles. For the most part we will offer bikes in found condition, cleaned up a bit, usually in their entirety. There may be circumstances where breaking a bike up for parts better serves our customers, this is usually related to overall condition. Item Description:  Schwinn Racer White Chainguard Original Water Transfer Decal 1957
Condition: The decals offered are ORIGINAL, they are not modern day reproductions. The item is in Like New Condition, unused. The decals we're offering come from the estate of a long time Schwinn employee of the Chicago plant. having worked there from the early 1950's through the late 1970's. They were in a large flat box stored in his train room of his basement. Most were in extraordinary condition, untested by the hands of time. Some had some soiling, which due to the nature of water transfer any attempt to clean was avoided. My thinking is that during the transfer process any soiling would be resolved at that time.
