1962 Press Photo State U. of Iowa's athletic director and coach hanged in effigy

Iowa City, Iowa -- Double-headed effigy of State University of Iowa Athletic Director Forest Evasheski and Head Football Coach Jerry Burns was hanged today from railroad bridge spanning Iowa River on SUI campus. This was second effigy hanged in 4 days. Effigy of Burns was put up 10/26/62. Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches. Photo Is dated 1962.
