This is a gorgeous tea set of Meito China Made in Japan.  It is the Woodrose pattern in the Ivory China line. I don't really know the age of this set but I believe it may date to the 1950s.  It is a discontinued pattern.  I believe they may be bone china. This 10-piece set includes four (4) saucers, three (3) teacups, a lidded sugar bowl, and a creamer. It is a complete service for three (3) with an extra saucer. They have gold trim which is in excellent condition. They are ivory with a green and brown botanical print. Each saucer measures 5.75" in diameter and weighs 5 oz each.  Each teacup measures 3.75" at the rim x 2.25" tall and weighs 3 oz each. Capacity is 8 oz.  The creamer measures 3" tall and weighs 7 oz. The sugar bowl measures 4" tall with lid x 6" long with handle x 4.5" wide at rim. it weighs 10 oz. The combined weight is 2 lb 14 oz. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing and minimal signs of wear. Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this tea set.
