I have three other prints similar to this listed and I combine shipping!! There are no manufacturer's markings visible on the print or frame, but I did some online research and found that this is a plate from "Illuminated Illustrations of Froissart" by H. N. Humphreys Esq., published in London in 1845!! It is a hand-colored wood block print depicting "Galeas of Milan Surprises and Imprisons his Uncle", in 14th Century Italy!! The print is in EXCELLENT condition with light age tanning of the matting and the wooden shadow box frame is solid with very minor wear!! The print may even be from the 19th Century in a "newer" frame!! Go to a frame shop and get a price quote on a 6.75" X 8" X 1" thick shadow box frame and you will see what a bargain this antique print is at the opening bid!! Please see my many other art and antique listings and email me with any questions!!
