Seal is new old stock, never installed in a vehicle.  My information says seal will fit 1979-1993 240, 1975-1984 260, 1985-1992 740, 1984-1990 760, 1987-1991 780, 1991-1995 940, 1991-1992 940SE, and 1992 960.  OEM Volvo seal.  My information says part numbers 8601712, 1378869, 3510993, 1274048, and 8601336 are all the same part.
