Vintage Thai Betel Nut Box
We bought this betel nut box from an old lady in a small village in Buriram province, Thailand in the 1980's.  It's vintage but hard to know how old exactly.  She had it for a very long time she said so it's likely mid-century.  It's handmade, and quite well made.  Overall, in excellent condition, sturdy and with typical wear from use but not abused.  Some writing in Thai on the bottom that seems to be like someone just needed to write a few notes but this is the only place they had to write.  The words do not make any sense other than just some random note.  It's all wood and 8" X 8" X 5 3/8"
