1974 Press Photo New Orleans - Sisters Ginger Holman & Jaqueline Barbin Meet

This is an original press photo. New Orleans - Together for the first time in 38 years are these sisters Ginger Holman (left) of Gainesville Florida and Jaqueline Barbin of New Orleans. A down-and-out couple left the Greyhound Bus Terminal in New York City in 1936, going on a cross-country trip on which they gave away three of their children as they went. Two other children were left behind. Thursday night in New Orleans one of the children was dropped off and one of the ones left in Ne York met for the first time in 38 years.Photo measures 8 x 10inches. Photo is dated 11-29-1974.
