Brake pads:

We offer this brake dust-optimized brake pad as an “OE spare part”. This corresponds to the original equipment manufacturer quality, but has been improved by EBC in terms of service life and brake dust development. Good heat resistance and minimal brake disc wear are further reasons for the great success of this EBC brake pad. Many Blackstuff Ultimax brake pads have ECE R90 approval.

The 100% environmentally friendly friction material mixture, which no longer contains any sulphides, now almost completely prevents brake flutter caused by the pads. The pad mixture is now free of metallic components, which makes it even gentler on the brake disc. Like all EBC automotive brake pads, all EBC Blackstuff brake pads feature a brake-in coating, broken edges, a heat groove and a powder coating. The Blackstuff was tested for function and durability in three different climate zones. For use with the Blackstuff brake pads we recommend using our premium brake discs.

Despite the very high quality and an optimal nominal friction coefficient, we recommend a pad from the “sports brake pads” category for sporty drivers and for very heavy or high-powered vehicles. For example Greenstuff, Redstuff or Yellowstuff.

All EBC Premium brake discs are made of grey cast iron and have a tensile strength of 150N/m2 with a deviation in surface hardness of max. 20HB.

The premium brake discs are CNC milled with a surface tolerance of 0.01mm.

This is not a cheap imported product, but a high-quality OE spare part, which is in no way inferior to the quality of the original brake discs.
