A superb and rare photo of the magnificent Jigger Sirois.

 

Jigger Sirois was an American race car driver known for his participation in the Indianapolis 500 during the late 1960s. Born on June 21, 1942, in Massachusetts, he had a notable career in open-wheel racing, particularly in the IndyCar series.

 

Sirois competed in several Indy 500 races, including the 1969 event. He drove for various teams and was recognized for his skill and determination on the track. Despite not finishing at the front, he contributed to the competitive landscape of the era.
